Voice Box Classes is a Shropshire based Performing Arts School ran by local dreamer Ellie Gough. "I believe performing arts should be accessible to everyone, no matter there walk of life".

Voice Box's mission is to offer high quality classes that are fun and affordable to as many individuals as possible. We host a range of programs offering specialist classes with trained local teachers. Our main focus is allowing our classes to be accessible to all and we do this via our inclusion policy. We have classes for a wide range of ages to provide opportunities to as many people as possible. We like to provide all students with opportunities throughout there journey be it a shows, competitions , community events, exams (and more ) all of which are optional,

We know that every student has different needs and so all our teachers have flexible teaching approaches to support all learning types and needs. All our students are encourage to be there most authentic selves and we never expect anyone to fit into a box this goes for there progress too, Students progress is not compared between class standards but individual goals instead.

We have seen a lot of Peforming Arts schools that are thriving and crammed with students and as much as that would be lovely it's just not us. In our classes we aim to cater for everyone's needs and truley believe that every individual has the chance to progress so we cap all our classes with lower numbers to ensure all students get a more personalised experience.

Our Story

Voice Box Classes was created in 2023 when a part time job on the side teaching singing lessons took a pull in a direction wanted year previous. Ellie (owner) fell ill early 2022 and after months of fighting had to make the decision to quit there full time job. While this was the case singing lesson were thriving and several students requested more lessons and just like that October 2022 our Musical Theatre Class launched, this was closely followed by our adult choir in March 2023 and as Ellie's heath began to ease the following May 2024 our dance classes followed. The last two years with all classes in action we have been working on building the business up and setting our intentions, leading us to where we are today.
